What does it smell like?
Hypochlorous acid is a very special form of the chlorine atom that gives Mighty Mist that clean, pool smell. It’s also an important indicator to your nose. Hypochlorous acid should always have a slight chlorine smell to it and it’s that clean smell that lets you know you’ve got an active hypochlorous acid product. It’s important to remember that chlorine atoms can be found in many different types of molecules like bleach. However, hypochlorous acid is NOT bleach and is not the same chemical used in pools, those are different types of molecules with chlorine in them.
