Its vegan construction incorporates recycled, bio-sourced, and organic materials, including recycled PET, recycled EVA, natural rubber, cork, and organic cotton. The knit construction also minimizes material waste while keeping the shoe breathable, flexible, and light on your feet.

We ship within two business days (48 hours) after you place your order. We offer free shipping for all orders over $99. (Within the Continental United States).
Returns
If you purchased the $2.98 protection for free return, exchange, refund or store credit at the original time of checkout, there is no cost to return the package. You will be able to submit a return for a refund, store credit or exchange and receive a prepaid label through our returns center.
Please note that the return is free when you drop the shoes at a drop off point. If you want the package picked up at your place, you have to pay an extra fee.
If you did not purchase the $2.98 protection, you will be responsible for the return shipping label fee.

The shoes have to be purchased on SAOLA.com and the request must be made within 30 days after the delivery date.
All products must be returned in original packaging. Shoes returned with damaged or missing packaging are subject to a $5 restocking fee.

What is the Cannon Knit W 2.0 designed for?
It is a lightweight casual sneaker designed for comfortable everyday wear.
What is it made from?
It is 100% vegan and made from recycled, bio-sourced, and organic materials. The upper is made from 83% mass-dyed recycled PET, 6% spandex, and 11% PA. The lining is microfiber made from 60% polyester and 40% recycled PET. The insole is made from 85% recycled PU and 15% PU, with a 100% recycled cork topsheet. The outsole is made from 55% natural rubber, 40% synthetic rubber, and 5% cork. The laces are made from 100% organic cotton.
Is the shoe breathable?
Yes. The soft knit upper allows air circulation to help keep feet more comfortable.
Is it cushioned?
Yes. The cushioned midsole is designed to absorb impact and provide comfortable support underfoot.
Are the insoles removable?
Yes. The removable insoles can mold to your feet or be replaced with your own.
What makes the sneaker more sustainable?
The recycled knit helps minimize material loss, and the dope-dyed upper uses less energy, water, and CO2 than traditional dyeing.

Our Story
A Bigger Life with A Smaller Footprint
In 2015, at 40 years old and as a husband and father of two, I left my comfortable job in the outdoor industry to start SAOLA. My adventurous life and growing awareness of the environmental crisis made me want to build something that could help protect the planet rather than simply add to its impact.
I set out to create footwear using more sustainable materials and responsible manufacturing while also supporting biodiversity conservation. That commitment still guides SAOLA today: creating shoes designed for everyday life while continually working to reduce our footprint and give back to efforts that protect forests and endangered species.
