Our Story
The Story of DressWeights: A Family Affair
The inspiration for DressWeights struck in NYC's West Village in spring 2012. While at a friend's rooftop barbecue, the hassle of dealing with a billowing dress in the wind, a la Marilyn Monroe, sparked the idea for a solution.
Discussing this dilemma with Peter, a friend and engineer, led to the concept of using adhesive golf club weights to anchor dress hems. Through collaborative efforts, we refined the idea and created DressWeights, a patent-pending solution to windy day fashion woes. From concept to prototype, the journey was filled with trial and error, ultimately resulting in a practical and stylish fix for flowy attire.
