Matt Caulfield, an action sports enthusiast who loves the outdoors, found his bulky leather wallet a hassle on long bike rides, so he decided to slim down. A smaller wallet was a game-changer, but handling cash became tedious. After searching for a lightweight wallet that could hold cash comfortably without success, Matt designed his own. Emphasizing a place for cash comes from his passion for small local businesses like cash-only mom-and-pop shops, farm stands, and flee markets. After testing prototypes with friends and family, Matt was encouraged by the feedback. The final push came from his concern over micro-plastics in the ocean, fueling his mission to create a silicone wallet as an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based synthetic wallets that break down into micro-plastics.
