How a Spilled Coffee and a Childhood Sewing Machine Changed the Way Women Work
In 2021, I was unemployed, working from my couch, constantly wrapped in a giant blanket trying to stay warm. One day it knocked over my coffee and I'd had enough. I Googled "office chair blanket." Nothing existed. So I pulled out the sewing machine I'd had since I was 12 and built one myself. Local woman-owned factories helped bring Warmür to life in its first year. As demand grew, so did we. The problem Warmür solves is one millions of women know intimately. Offices blast AC all summer. Winters are brutal. The old solutions were unflattering, impractical, and unprofessional. Warmür changed that. We created an entirely new product category, and the imitators that followed only proved we were onto something real. No woman should have to choose between staying warm and showing up her best.
