We usually ship within 3 business days of receiving an order, and currently only ship to the US mainland. We take returns within 30 days of shipping, and there is a 6-month warranty that gets activated after attending an onboarding session.  

What is CLIP?

CLIP is a portable e-bike conversion device that attaches to your front wheel and gives your bike an electric boost without tools or permanent installation.

Will CLIP fit my bike?

We made CLIP to be compatible with all city, road and hybrid bikes with a 26” to 28” front tire/tyre and any fork stem thickness. CLIP is not compatible with suspension fork. Best is to share a photo of your bike with us so we can confirm fit. Preferably with the name/model. How far can I go on a single charge?

The Commuter CLIP: You can ride up to 6 miles with electric assist—perfect for most city commutes and errands. The Explorer CLIP: Ride 12-18 miles, perfect for long leisure rides.

How fast does CLIP go?

CLIP provides assist up to 15 mph, helping you cruise without overexerting yourself.

How exactly do I attach it?

1. Undock remote and strap it on the handlebar so your thumb can reach the Boost button while you’re riding. 2. Unlatch the handle on CLIP & rotate it forward to retract the clamp pegs. 3. Position CLIP over the front wheel so the fork pads are resting on the bicycle fork & the red roller is resting on the wheel. 4. While you have CLIP positioned correctly, pull handle out towards yourself until it clicks in place.

How long does it take to recharge?

CLIP fully recharges in just 40 minutes, so you can top it off over lunch or while you work.

How do I charge it?

Connect the CLIP charger to your CLIP and plug into a nearby outlet.

Is it easy to carry?

Yes! CLIP weighs just 8.7 pounds and is small enough to bring indoors or store in a backpack.

What type of battery does CLIP use, and what are its features?

CLIP utilizes a Lithium-ion battery pack, which is specially designed and optimized with several advanced features to enhance performance and safety. Optimized Lithium Footprint: Designed for minimal environmental impact. Regenerative Charging: Recaptures energy during downhill riding or braking, enhancing efficiency. Dedicated Battery Management System: Each pack has its own system to maintain battery health and safety by regulating charging and discharging. These features ensure the CLIP battery is efficient, safe, and eco-friendly.

How does braking work?

Your bike's original brakes still work while using CLIP. Plus the button offers regenerative braking. Press and hold the white pill shaped button/LED while going downhill to slow your speed and capture the energy back into your battery. The button will glow red when pressed. Use in conjunction with bike brakes.

Is there a warranty?

First 6 Months - Full Support. Any manufacturing glitches? Don’t worry, we’re here to help. If you notice any issues in materials or how your CLIP was made, we’ve got your back. We’ll either fix your CLIP or replace it with a refurbished one that’s in a similar or better condition as your CLIP. And guess what? We’ll take care of all the shipping costs! Next 6 Months - Continued Care. We’re still here for you! If you find any manufacturing issues from the 7th to the 12th month, we’re on it. We’ll fix your CLIP at no charge, using new or refurbished parts. Please note that there won’t be complimentary shipping during this period.
