What types of markers will work with this?

All dry-erase whiteboard markers and erasers will work with the White version of the DeskBoard Buddy. However, for the Black version of the DeskBoard Buddy it is recommended that you use the specially designed 10 pack of glass whiteboard markers that we sell here on the website. These dry erase markers are specially designed to work on the black glass surface of the DeskBoard Buddy.

How big and heavy is the DeskBoard Buddy?

The DeskBoard Buddy's glass white board surface is a spacious 16"(40cm) x 7"(18cm), giving you plenty of room to keep your daily notes. It can also fit perfectly between your keyboard and computer monitor, or off to the side of your keyboard or laptop. The DeskBoard Buddy weighs approximately 2.8 lbs (1.25kg) with nothing inside it.

How is this different from a traditional whiteboard?

The biggest difference that you will immediately notice is how heavy the DeskBoard Buddy is. That is because the DeskBoard Buddy's whiteboard is made from a beautiful glass material. It is much heavier and sturdier than a traditional whiteboard, while also being incredibly easy to write and erase on. Unlike traditional whiteboards the DeskBoard Buddy is also designed to fit perfectly between your keyboard and computer monitor, making the white boards surface ideal to quickly jot notes.

What are the dimensions of the phone/tablet slot?

The slot on top of the DeskBoard Buddy where you can stand up your phone or tablet is 13" (33cm) long and 0.6" (1.5cm) wide. This is wide enough to fit any modern smartphone with a case.
