Refunds or exchanges on returns within 30 days of the purchase date. LED strip must still have protective backing tape.
FAQs
Will Fret Zealot work with left-handed guitars?
Yes! You will purchase the same Fret Zealot and install it in the same method as our right-handed players. The “spine” of Fret Zealot will be on the bottom (ground side) of the neck for left-handed guitars. On the app, go to the Settings section and choose “left handed” to make sure the light displays are correct.
Does Fret Zealot work on acoustic guitars?
Yes! We show a lot of electric guitar action in the videos, but Fret Zealot works on all full size guitars with nut widths less than 2.0 inches.
Will Fret Zealot damage my guitar's fret board?
Nope! The adhesive we use is removable (similar to how sticky notes work) and will not damage your guitar should you decide to remove Fret Zealot at some point.
Can I remove Fret Zealot from one guitar and put it on another?
You can remove Fret Zealot from your guitar, but you cannot re-apply Fret Zealot on another guitar. Fret Zealot is a one-time installation only due to the adhesive’s properties and to ensure that Fret Zealot doesn’t ever lift up at the corners (a seemingly small, but very important consideration).

Zealot Interactive was founded by a group of engineers who, as we describe it, "spent 10 years failing to learn guitar". None of the traditional methods worked and we knew we could do it better. It took five years of development and painfully waiting for LED technology to advance, but we're finally here! Fret Zealot pushes the gas pedal on learning and puts you in control of your musical experience. Replace frustration with fun and learn guitar on your own guitar! There's something for every level of learning, from beginner to advanced. You get to choose the instrument that speaks to you, the instructor you vibe with, and of course get to set your own schedule for learning.
