There is a knob on the left side of Lumenology Dual Motion Security Light called the “Light Sensitivity Knob” that will allow you to control if the light will trigger in light or dark settings.
How does the Lumenology Dual Security Motion Light work?
All Lumenology lights have motion sensors that trigger the light to illuminate. The Dual Security Motion Light allows you to select if you want it to only sense motion in dark settings or in light settings, which would cause the light to trigger in all settings. Using the Timer Knob, you can select how long the light will remain illuminated for.

How do I test my Lumenology Dual Security Motion Light?
To test your Lumenology Dual Security Motion Light before installation or at any time, it is recommended to always use fresh batteries and take into a dark room or closet. Leave the room, and after 60 seconds, walk back in and it should trigger the motion sensor to illuminate your Lumenology Product.
Can I use the Lumenology Dual Security Motion Light outdoors?
Yes. The Lumenology Dual Security Motion Light can be used outdoors and is rated IP44. Please note: the Lumenology Dual Security Motion Light is water resistant, but it should not be submerged in water.
