Our Story
I Didn't Just Develop Crutch Carries Cup Holder, I Have Used It
It all started when I slipped on the ice and fractured my femur. The fracture occurred due to a large bone tumor. I had surgery to remove the tumor and my femur bone was reconstructed using a cadaver bone graft. I spent 5 arduous months on crutches, 4 of which I was unable to put weight on the leg. During my time on crutches I found myself dependent upon my wife or others to get drinks for me, because I could not carry a cup of milk from the refrigerator to the table 10 feet away. I set out to develop a cup/drink holder for crutches to improve my life and started Crutch Carries to improve the life of others on crutches, walkers and mobility devices. Modeled after the bicycle water bottle cage, the Crutch Carries Cup Holder is made from aluminum and bolts directly into crutches.
