Caregivers Get Together to Invent a Back Scratcher Like No Other
I was recently bed ridden due to a serious back injury. Which required me to have 24 hour health care in my home. I noticed that many of my caregivers were scratching their back on the corner of my door frame in my room. So I asked them if they wanted a back scratcher to make it easier for them, and they said the stick back scratcher doesn't work as well as the door frame does. So that was the our epiphany to create a better back scratcher. Since one my care givers have shoulder mobility problems we came up with the idea to use a back scratcher attached to a strap. So we used a strap from a ratchet strap a rough piece of plastic we cut into a circle with spikes on it and a whole lot of duck tape. After we got a working prototype we came up with a name Gator Backscratcher.
