Who is Intake for?

What's the cost difference, why does it cost more?

Because we are better — Nasal Strips are basically bandaids. They’re flimsy, single use, and since you’re here reading this you probably agree… they don’t work that well. Intake is made from high quality Nylon-12 plastic, neodymium magnets, triple layered medical grade adhesive, and includes a case, applicator, multiple band sizes, and an optional subscription for even greater savings.

How does it work?

Intake sits comfortably on the outside of your nose. The magnets are secured on the ends of the reusable Band, and the breathing Tabs (which contain the steel disk the magnet attaches to) are designed to adhere to the outer skin on your nose, just above each nostril. Will it help my snoring?

There are many different reasons why one might snore or have trouble sleeping, so we hesitate to definitively say yes to this question. How are they different from nasal strips?

Intake doesn’t fall off Intake’s two-part design allows longer wear time than nasal strips—it won’t come off while you’re sleeping, and it won’t come off while you’re exercising. Here’s how the design helps Intake achieve longer wear: when you wear a nasal strip, you’re relying on the adhesive to both open your nose and stick to your skin. Because the adhesive has to do two jobs, it loses its effectiveness fairly quickly. With Intake, the adhesive just has to stay stuck, while the Band does the work of opening your nose. Intake opens your nose wider Intake can open your nose up to 70% wider than disposable nasal strips. Intake is a strong, rigid Band that comfortably holds your nose open to a fixed point using your choice of our six available sizes. Nasal strips, on the other hand, collapse upon inhale and don’t hold your nose open as wide. Intake doesn’t pull your skin off Nasal strips used to pull the skin off the bridge of our nose… they were painful and left our nose red and irritated. Intake won’t do that. The Band that we use pulls from medical grade adhesive that gently holds to the sides of your nose. The way that the magnets hold to the tabs keeps the pull centered, so your skin isn’t fighting the adhesive the whole time you’re wearing it.

Why magnets?

The magnetic aspect of Intake is simply the best way we could find for the product to hold on to the nose without being a single strip (like a common nasal strip). We tried velcro and all sorts of things to keep the rigid band stuck on the nose, but we found that it's actually vital to use magnets. The two magnets on the end of the band attract to the dome shaped disc inside the Tab creating two points of contact on either side of your nose. This allows the magnets to hold tight, while creating a sort of 'floating' property about the Band. The nose moves a lot more than you may realize, so we needed the Tabs to stay stuck while the Band was able to 'float' on top of them. Trust us- we put a lot of thought into this little thing!

From the moment I tried these nasal strips, I was impressed by their effectiveness and ease of use. One of the standout features of these nasal strips is their superior adhesive quality. They stay securely in place throughout the night, even for those who toss and turn. Unlike other nasal strips I've tried, these do not irritate my skin or leave any residue, making them comfortable to wear and easy to remove in the morning.

This is changing everything for me. My stress levels have gone down with the ability to take deeper, fuller breaths. I use for my runs as well and have always been a mouth breather for running. I can run my entire 5k through my nose with this on. Only con I would say is that after about 3 miles/5k of running, the tape tends to start slipping. So if you’re a long distance runner - this won’t last beyond that. Comfortable to sleep in, my sleep has been deep since getting this. Overall great product.

This thing is amazing!! It's a more expensive option, but if you compare it to buying nasal strips for every night it will save money and work better in the long run. I was considering using an insertable nasal dilator, but they always seemed so uncomfortable and unhygienic. I wasn't sure what to expect from this since the regular disposable nose strips never were that great for me. The Intake turned out to be amazing!! It really gives you great air flow without having to put anything up your nose, and it's very comfortable!

I’d give these a 10 star, if possible! I’ve tried numerous different products to help me stop snoring at night, and these do exactly that! I’ve been sleeping so much better all week, my husband has been so happy because he’s now sleeping through the night not having to listen to me. The magnets and actual nose piece stay on your nose all night. I’ve even been able to reuse the magnets a couple of nights and they stick fine. The only thing I do wish is that the magnet pads came in a little smaller sizes. They are pretty large for my nose, but they don’t cause discomfort by any means. There isn’t a bunch of sticky residue on my nose in the morning, either!

I have had a deviated septum since I was a child, currently 29. I am planing on getting the surgery, but it's not cheap. These are amazing! Last night was the first night I've used these, I wish I didn't have to take it off to go to work. I slept sooooo good. I could breathe out of both nostrils, something I haven't felt since I was a kid. Don't even know how to feel. Thank you for this product, it is 100 times better than anything else I've tried.
