Our Story
Plankpad
Plankpad was created to make exercise feel less like a chore and more like something people actually want to do. Founder Andre Reinegger developed the idea after experiencing back pain himself and realizing that conventional therapies and medications were not solving the problem in a lasting way. He wanted to create a smarter, more motivating approach to core training—one that would not only strengthen the body, but also keep people engaged. The result was Plankpad, an app-connected balance board that combines workouts with interactive games on iPhone and Android. Since launching the first product in 2018, Plankpad has grown internationally, becoming ISPO finalist and earning recognition with the German Design Award and the German Innovation Award.
