FAQs

What does this supplement do?

Sifts is a daily supplement formulated to support the body's natural processes for managing microplastics in the digestive tract.* Its carefully selected ingredients, including dietary fibers, interact with particles during digestion to support normal elimination and digestive wellness.*

Why should I care about microplastics in my body?

Awareness of microplastics and the science around them is still relatively new, but it is evolving quickly. What we do know is that microplastic particles can carry substances such as BPA, PFAS, and other persistent chemicals. Emerging research is examining how microplastics may be associated with impacts on digestive function, immune response, cardiovascular health, fertility, and neurological pathways.

How does Sifts interact with microplastics in the body?

Sifts is formulated with ingredients that interact with microplastics during digestion, supporting their excretion through normal bowel movements. Its formulation is intentionally focused on the digestive tract, where everyday exposures pass through the body. By interacting with certain particles during digestion, Sifts supports their normal exit. This gut-based approach complements the body's existing elimination pathways and is designed for consistent, daily use.

How is Sifts tested for purity and quality?

Each ingredient is third-party tested for identity, purity, and safety. Sifts is free from gluten, dairy, soy, artificial fillers, and detectable plastic residues.

Who should use Sifts?

Sifts can be a valuable supplement for anyone exposed to food, water, and air... so practically everybody! However, Sifts should not be used by individuals with shellfish or seafood allergies, or by those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18.

What are microplastics and how do they enter the human body?

Microplastics are very small plastic particles, typically defined as being less than 5 millimeters in size. They enter the human body primarily through ingestion and inhalation. Common sources include food, drinking water, airborne dust, and contact with plastic packaging or utensils. Over time, larger plastic items break down into smaller particles, contributing to environmental and household exposure. Exposure to microplastics is generally unintentional and widespread.

Are microplastics a growing problem?

Yes. Microplastics are now widespread in the environment and everyday life. These tiny plastic particles come from the breakdown of larger plastics or are made at very small sizes, and have been found in water, food, air, and household dust. As plastic production has increased, so has exposure. Researchers are still studying the long-term health effects, but there is broad agreement that microplastics are now a common part of modern life.

Our Story

I Couldn’t Ignore the Plastic We’re All Consuming

Like most people, I thought microplastics were just an abstract environmental issue, not something that affected me personally. But when I started digging into the research, I realized they’re not just in oceans, they’re in the food we eat, the water we drink, and even inside the human body, where emerging research has linked them to things like cardiovascular risk, cognitive decline, and other chronic illness. If this is part of modern life, why isn’t there a simple, daily way to deal with it? I became focused on how these particles behave in the digestive system, which led me to fibers that can interact with and bind to them during digestion. Sifts came from that idea: a practical, daily tool designed to support your body in a world full of microplastics.
