Our Story

I Set out to Keep Drinks Cold and Created Something That Drastically Improves Quality of Life

In 2018 I developed a polynesian-inspired fashion cooler bag designed for women called the Hula Cula. While solving the task of how to keep drinks cold in this leather fashion bag, I came up with the idea for a stretchy fabric sleeve that could hold ice packs inside of it and form fit to items inside the cooler, keeping them cold without the mess of free ice. This product was initially called a Hula Skurt. Upon getting prototypes made, the reaction of the people who saw them was universally to put it on themselves. Every person who got a hold of one slid it on their arm and exclaimed how wonderful this would be for their sore joints. It didn't take long for HurtSkurt to be born, and with a few adjustments, it has been changing lives ever since! It can change yours too.
