Is SYPS Water Dispenser Safe?
Of course! SYPS Water Dispenser was designed strategically with the UL certification process and strategically in mind from the very beginning. Electrical products that handle stored water next to your bed have been around for years, just look at the humidifier! We also make sure to undergo rigorous testing and certification programs for all of our products.
Can it dispense other beverages?
The SYPS Dispenser can dispense water. While it can dispense other drinkable liquids, the sugar will break down the pump over time and will void the warranty. HydraLamp but will not work with higher density liquids.
How often do I need to clean it?
There are a variety of different ways to clean the SYPS Water Dispenser. We recommend that you clean your SYPS Water Dispenser with the same kits one uses to clean a kegerator, soda line, or bar line. We also offer cleaning solutions to help. Depending on what you are dispensing, the recommendation is to clean it every 2-4 weeks. Best part is, the water storage tank is dishwasher safe!
Do I have to use the filter?
No, with the included filter bypass connection piece you can choose if you want to use the filter or not. If you use the filter: Each microfilter lasts up to 200 gallons, depending on water quality and frequency of use.
How cold does the fridge get?
It chills water up to 40°F (4°C) below ambient temperature.
Is it noisy?
No. The thermo-electric design runs ultra-quiet for undisturbed relaxation or focus.
