How do I clean the foot scrubber?
Rinse after use and clean with a small brush. You can occasionally soak it in water with a little bleach or run it through the dishwasher.
Will it remove all my calluses at once?
No—removing calluses gradually is healthier for your skin. Use it regularly for best results and follow with the buffing side to smooth any loosened skin.
Can it break if dropped?
It can break if dropped on hard tile, but not always. If yours breaks, the Maker is happy to help make it right.
How should I store it?
Store it somewhere it can dry fully. Its raised shape helps it dry faster when placed on a surface, and it may hang in older shower caddies.
What should I do after exfoliating?
Dry your feet well and apply a rich foot cream for best results.
Where did this product originate?
Co-Founder Ann discovered an early version of this scrubber in Karachi and later refined the design with Kumy for use in the U.S.

Our Story
It All Started when Ann Found a Unique Tool to Help Tame Her "barefoot Nebraska Girl" Feet.
We started Gilden Tree in 1990 with a commitment to do things the right way, for the environment and for the people who make, sell and buy our products. I'd found a Foot Scrubber when living in Pakistan that worked on even my tough feet, so we started our company with it. Today, each Foot Scrubber is still artisan-crafted. in December, 2005 our efforts were featured in a TIME Magazine article "Sisters in Trade", focused on companies that work with artisan groups around the world, and focus on giving something back. We also offer deeply healing foot, hand & body care products, using many Certified Organic ingredients, and a beautiful line of European-style, pure cotton waffle bath towels and accessories, all Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified.
