Do your products come with a warranty?
We provide a one year warranty that all of our products will be free from defects in materials and manufacturing, under normal use and proper handling. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions regarding this warranty.
Are batteries required?
Absolutely not. Our products draw a tiny bit of power directly from your home when the clips on the back make contact with the terminals on the sides of the outlet.
What if my outlets are horizontal?
Good news, SnapPower has launched a Horizontal GuideLight with the LEDs located on the long side of the cover plate. Also, our other outlet products can be installed horizontally and work just fine as well if you want directional light from the side; just make sure to install where the bottom of our plate lines up with the ground side of the outlet. We have many customers who have done this and love it!
What color temperature are the LEDs?
The LED lights in our lighting products are a neutral white temperature. Approximately 4,000 Kelvins.

Our Story
An Electrician's Ingenious Solution to Every Home's Night Lighting problems
I became an electrician during the 90's and installed a lot of traditional guide lights in homes. Guide lights (or pathway lights) are those hardwired night lights that you see low on the wall in hallways or next to stairs. Installation requires running numerous wires through walls, adding more electrical boxes, and manually wiring each guide light.
This process can be very time consuming and expensive. Also, conventional plug-in night lights are bulky, occupy outlets, break easily, and can be dangerous. So I decided to come up with a simple solution, one that would solve these problems and also be easy enough that anyone could install it.
After years of hard work, designing, and engineering, we launched the product! We hope you enjoy the beauty and convenience of the SnapPower GuideLight.
