The Idea of Gutter Brush Came About by Accident! Sometimes the Simplest Solutions Are the Best
Founded in 2004 by father-son duo Bob and Randy Schreiber, GutterBrush is a family-owned business that began with a simple cabin problem. Nestled in the Allegheny National Forest, Bob’s cabin required frequent gutter cleaning due to the surrounding dense foliage. During a cleaning in the early 1990s, Bob stumbled upon an old, twisted brush, possibly a chimney sweep brush, and used it to clean the gutters. By accident, he left it in the gutter. Months later, he discovered that the section of the gutter with the brush remained clear of debris. Inspired by this accidental discovery, the idea for GutterBrush was born, turning a tedious chore into a clever gutter protection solution.
