The durable food grade stainless steel construction and grippy base is safe for kids and glass free zones (like crashing your neighbors pool party). Hands stay warm and dry with the sweat-free exterior. Clear lids are included for easy on-the-go treats or storing leftovers (wait – is leftover ice cream a thing?).

FAQs
What is vacuum insulation?
Calicle cups have two stainless steel walls separated by… nothing. When the bowls are manufactured, the air between the 2 walls is removed and the bowl is sealed creating a vacuum space. This vacuum space acts as a barrier which prevents temperature from transferring between the inner wall and the outer wall. This results in a product that retains food temperature longer.
How long will my ice cream last?
That depends how fast you eat it! Just kidding, Calicle cups are designed to maintain food temperatures longer, but the actual length of time that they can do so depends on a variety of environmental and physical factors including the food type, temperature of food when packed, use of the lid, and the ambient temperature. Our testing found that ice cream in our insulated bowl with the lid on lasted 200% longer than a glass bowl at room temperature.
What else can I put in my bowl?
Just about anything you can think of, hot or cold! While we love using them for ice cream, Calicle cups also work great for other frozen treats and smoothie bowls. Try them for chilled dips or potato salad at your picnic or shave ice at the beach. Piña coladas and milkshakes too. We like it hot, too. Soups, stews, chili are all better at the right temperature. Are they dishwasher safe?
Hand washing is recommended to avoided damaging the sleek painted finish of the bowl but a trip through the dishwasher (top rack only) shouldn't damage the insulating properties. Lids are top rack dishwasher safe.
Can I put my bowl in the fridge or freezer?
It’s safe to use Calicle cups in the fridge. We love them for prepping cold items like overnight oats or fruit bowls the day before. Use caution when using your bowl in the freezer – the expansion of contents as they freeze may damage the bowl. Use in the freezer only for foods that don’t expand – like ice cream! Note: If the bowl has been in the fridge/freezer, there may be some sweating and it will feel cool to hold until the outer wall of the bowl warms to room temperature (but not after).

Hi, I’m Jenn, accidental entrepreneur and the founder of Calicle.
It all began one scorching summer day in my hot, sticky kitchen. As I scooped my cookie dough ice cream into a bowl, I watched in dismay as it instantly began to melt. I realized there had to be a better way to enjoy my favorite frozen treats and was sure others were frustrated by the same meltdown. Finding nothing stylish on the market that solved the problem, I decided to create it myself.
