No. Lifeproof Home forms a super-thin (0.3-0.6 mils) SiO2 ceramic layer that is 100% transparent and not noticeable. You may however notice an increase in gloss.

Can the coating be removed?

Yes! While Lifeproof Home is very durable, it can be removed with concentrated isopropyl alcohol or Lifeproof Primer should you need to.

Will the coating buildup, crack, or yellow?

Absolutely not! Lifeproof Home is ultra-thin and will not crack, yellow, or build up over time. You'll know it's time for reapplication when you see a loss of benefits like liquid repellency.

It really works! I couldn’t believe how great it worked on my refrigerator. Made it so shiny and stayed clean. If you do get a little something on it, you just need to wipe it off with a microfiber cloth and buff. I’m going to do all my kitchen appliances with it! So easy to do.
