Do your products come with a warranty?

Are batteries required?
Absolutely not. Our products draw a tiny bit of power directly from your home when the clips on the back make contact with the terminals on the sides of the outlet.
How difficult is it to install MotionLight?
Installation is quick and easy - simply remove your existing outlet cover and snap on the MotionLight. No wiring or batteries required.
How long does the light stay on after detecting motion?
The light duration is adjustable. You can set it to stay on for a few seconds up to several minutes after motion is no longer detected.
Is MotionLight always on, even during the day?
MotionLight has a built-in light sensor that only activates the motion detection feature when the surrounding area is dark.

Our Story
Creating the "World's Best Night Light"
I became an electrician during the 90's and installed a lot of traditional guide lights in homes. Guide lights (or pathway lights) are those hardwired night lights that you see low on the wall in hallways or next to stairs. Installation requires running numerous wires through walls, adding more electrical boxes, and manually wiring each guide light. This process can be very time consuming and expensive. Also, conventional plug-in night lights are bulky, occupy outlets, break easily, and can be dangerous. So I decided to come up with a simple solution, one that would solve these problems and also be easy enough that anyone could install it. After years of hard work, designing, and engineering, we launched the product! We hope you enjoy the beauty and convenience of the SnapPower GuideLight.
