Is it food safe for vegetable, herb and fruits gardens?

Why doesn't empty water bottles achieve the same result in the bottom of the pot?
Stuff and Debris only raise the perched water table. Potted plants are susceptible to soil compaction, which causes additional oxygen deficiencies. Because our pot has a built in aeration chamber that is angled at 15 degrees it lessens and prevents soil compaction and allows excessive water to drain out and away from the root. Empty bottles, broken pieces of pottery just raise the water table from the bottom of the pot to above the debris
