What is the difference between Root Warrior and other products on the market?
No other product channels oxygen to the center of the container to support root systems. Oxygen is a necessary component of respiration, which is the process that converts stored sugars into the energy needed to keep all living organisms alive. In the absence of oxygen, root growth stops and over time roots begin to die.
What is Brix?
Brix [oB] is a measure of sucrose, fructose, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and proteins in tomatoes, vegetables and plants. Including Houseplants. Root Warrior can help achieve Hi-Brix, great tasting nutrient dense produce all organically.
Can I use the Root Warrior with a self-watering pot?
Yes. Self-Watering Pots benefit as the aeration chamber channels oxygen from the bottom of the pot to the roots, preventing waterlogged soil.
Why doesn't empty water bottles achieve the same result in the bottom of the pot?
Debris only raises the perched water table. Potted plants are susceptible to soil compaction, which causes additional oxygen deficiencies. Because the Root Warrior aeration chamber is angled at 15 degrees it lessens and prevents excessive soil compaction and allows excessive water to drain out and away from the root. Empty bottles, broken pieces of pottery just raise the water table from the bottom of the pot to above the debris.
Does the soil fall out of the drain hole in the bottom of the pot?
Root Warrior prevents most soil from drifting and falling out of the drain hole, soil remains in the planter, not on your table or deck. You may see a dusting of soil when you first plant, but no mess. Roots are air pruned naturally surrounding the aeration chamber in the center of your planter resulting in stronger roots and healthier plants. It doesn't get better than that!
