Stuck well to clean tiled wall. It gobbled the hair right in & holds it until I clean it out.

Bought this immediately after finding out it existed. It came in and I instantly stuck it to me shower wall and have loved it ever since. I have long, thick hair that always manages to clog the drain and end up everywhere but this makes it so much easier to avoid that. It manages to take all of the hair off my hands and then you just swipe the other direction and throw it out when finished. I absolutely love this product and will continue to recommend. Not sure about how it is to remove, but is goes on like a command strip, i don’t plan on taking mine off anytime soon.

The item works real well in keeping my loose hair from falling down the drain. I was worried it wouldn’t work too well with my long hair, but it’s been very useful. A much better option than sticking my hairs on the shower wall. It’s more fun and easier to clean the hair off the item and throw it in the trash.

Meets expectations - the product stays on the shower wall and holds the hair well enough. The hair is also easy to remove. I am concerned that it will get moldy as its hard to clean, but I haven't had that issue in the couple months I have owned the hair trap.

Nifty to have instead of leaving my hair on the shower walls for my husband to find later. Or having to unclog the drain. Zero issues so far with it losing stickiness - I put it high up and closer to the outside of the shower to avoid it getting wet.

This is a fantastic idea and almost works exactly as it should! The only issue I have is that sometimes when I add hair to it, other hairs get stuck to my hand and then when I remove my finger I have hairs that have come off. I then have to keep trying to get them to stick to the trap and not my hand. It collects large chunks just fine, but it's the lose one or two hairs that tend to come out, even when I'm going in the correct direction. If you are going to use this, try to collect a big pile of hairs and swirl them into a ball before putting it in the trap. That is the best way to use it.

Our Story

Taking on the Hairy Problems of Shower Drains and Walls!

Shower Cat is the brainchild of our CEO, Jamel Patton. Growing up with two siblings who were both blessed with long, thick, curly locks, Jamel was constantly battling hair monsters living in the shower drain. Fast forward 15 years, and Jamel finds himself living with his girlfriend, and history is repeating itself. Hair everywhere! After a few prototypes and a well-working final design, Jamel partnered with two childhood friends, Corey and Evan. Together, they launched Shower Cat in the fall of 2021.
