How does it work?
First of all, magnets are so cool, aren't they? So, for this series, we decided to embed a strip of magnetic stainless in between the two layers of food grade 18/8 stainless that create the vacuum bottle. Then we placed a magnet on the lid, all you do is unthread the lid and stick it to the bottle's magnetic collar - it's a magnetic tether for your lid. Our patented technologies simplify your life.
Do these leak?
Nope! Our lids have twice the sealing power of traditional lids.
Are Liquid Hardware mugs dishwasher safe?
While the stainless steel mug would survive any dishwasher we recommend handwashing the mug and especially the lid.

Never Lose Your Lid
We started with a simple idea: What if somebody made a clean, BPA-free insulated water bottle or coffee tumbler with a magnetic lid that didn’t flop, drop,or roll and you did not have to set your lid down on a sketchy dirty counter? And well, that somebody became us.
Steve Kitto, the brains behind Liquid Hardware had plenty of reasons to stay hydrated. From skiing, hiking, and biking in the Tetons, Steve had every reason to want a clean, simply designed water bottle with a lid that sticks. So he designed one.
