Our Story

Kevin Wanted to Create an Easier Way to Peel Avocadoes, Mangos, and Kiwis with No Wasted Product

Kevin Kimsey waited in line at a local sandwich shop and watched as avocados were being prepared. He noticed how messy and time-consuming it was to dig out the avocado with a spoon, and the amount of fruit that went to waste. As he was looking at an avocado seed, an idea was born. The end result is the Peel Ripe Loop, a versatile peel and preparation tool for a multitude of fruits and vegetables (mangoes, kiwis, avocados, melons, squash, bell peppers, baked potatoes, pumpkins, papayas, tomatoes…and more). Kevin wanted to create a kitchen tool that reduces waste and preparation time, and is something that anyone can use, and he did! The Mango Loop soon followed, designed especially for larger fruits and the notoriously hard-to-peel mango, and the Kiwi Loop.
