How to heat a bread-warming stone?
Put terracotta stone in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes or microwave set to high for 2-4 minutes. When the stone gets hot enough, take it out and put it in the bread basket. Use a liner cloth or a mitten when handling a hot bread warmer stone to avoid any burns or injuries. Cover the terracotta stone with a liner cloth to protect from oil staining. Place bread in the basket, cover it with a lid or a liner cloth and serve. (Never put the basket in the oven)
How do I use the bread warmer?
Place your bread on top of the terra cotta stone inside the basket before your meal. The natural insulating properties will keep your bread warm for about 40 minutes.

In 2017, Angela, a co-founder of KORISSA, went to Bangladesh to work for a family business. There, she connected with a female social entrepreneur from an NGO and World Fair Trade organization dedicated to fighting poverty and empowering women in Dhaka's slums by crafting jute, seagrass, and local fiber goods. Inspired, Angela and Nora co-founded KORISSA, offering eco-conscious handmade products.
After five years, KORISSA partners with five artisan groups in Bangladesh, following fair trade principles. They prioritize sustainable relationships with artisans, culture preservation, fair wages, wider markets, and eco-friendly production for a conscious approach.
