A great solution for handling your heavy skillets! The Pan Buddy comes in two pieces: A vertical handle and a wrist support, adding leverage by keeping your wrist in a natural position while having support under your forearm. The wrist support has an opening that can receive pan handles up to 1.56 inches in diameter.
The vertical handle is then screwed into the wrist support until it becomes tight with the existing pan's handle. This provide a safe and secure connection. The Pan Buddy handle is separate from the existing pan handle and the heat does not transfer. This eliminates the need for oven mitts or silicone grips.

What type of material is the Pan Buddy made from?
The Pan Buddy is made of Nylon wrist piece and Polypropylene handle which is heat resistant up to 300 degrees. Nylon is a material you could find over-molded onto an existing pan handle.

What's the max heat resistance temp? Can it be used in the oven?
The Pan Buddy is rated to heats up to 300 degrees. It can be used on gas or electric stove tops. It is not intended to be used in the oven during cooking, but could be attached to the skillet handle while it is in the oven for easy removal. Do not expose to a direct flame.
Can I use the Pan Buddy if I am left handed?
The Pan Buddy is universal and can be used by both right and left handed cooks.

I Want You to Enjoy Your Time in the Kitchen With My Unique & Innovative Products
The Pan Buddy idea was conceived developed during COVID when I was unable to visit my grandmother at her assisted living facility. I would usually have a few dinners a month with her and assist around the kitchen with heavy items like her cast-iron skillets.
With my absence, I would hear of her struggles and decided to create a product that could help provide leverage and support to give her help using her heavy cookware. After a few different prototypes and testing, the Pan Buddy was released!
