All components of our sponge holder are recycled or recyclable. We salvage landfill-bound granite countertop remnants from local fabricators. We replace the stones we hand gather with rough stones purchased at a quarry to be tumbled to smoothness in the water for future gatherers. The aluminum is 100% recyclable.

Are there any specific safety or care instructions?

Since our sponge holder is made with durable and rust resistant materials, all that's needed to keep it clean is rinsing it with warm water.

Designing a Natural, Space-Saving Way to Hold & Dry Your Trusty Kitchen Sponge

We hand-collect rounded beach stones and "replant" with purchased rough quarry stones so they'll tumble to smoothness. We salvage landfill-bound granite countertop remnants from local fabricators.

Natural materials, such as upcyled granite, stone and aluminum are biodegradable and sustainable. A sponge holder made with these materials can solve several problems and address specific concerns associated with conventional sponge holders made from synthetic materials.

Our granite and stone sponge holder doesn't have these chemical concerns, ensuring that your sponge remains free from potential contaminants and minimizes your exposure to harmful substances.
