Our Story
Built with What We Had
We started Black Beard Fire in a small apartment in 2019. As two blue-collar brothers with a strong appreciation for American-made craftsmanship and quality, we set out to build a product we could be proud of. As demand grew, the apartment could no longer keep up, so we moved manufacturing into our grandmother’s garage.
Space was still tight, so we split the operation between locations. We made inventory in the garage each day, drove it to KJ’s basement to fulfill orders, then loaded everything back into the car for trips to the Post Office. It wasn’t the most efficient setup, but we worked with what we had and kept building.
