Shipping

Hüga cushions come with a lithium battery, which means they must be shipped via Ground. We also ship out of Maine, so West Coast orders can take a week or more. The closer you are to Maine, the faster it will get there. Reach out with questions!

Returns

We warranty our cushions and batteries for one year, but honestly, we stand by our product no matter what. If you have a problem, please contact one of us and we’ll make it right.

How does it work?

The super duper battery, which is included and simply needs to connect to the port in the side pocket, powers a slim heating element that’s layered between the comfy foam and the cushion cover.

How long does the battery last?

The battery is 6+ hour: 16, 750 mAh, one input port (micro-USB) and two outputs (USB)

Why is my butt so hot?

We should all have this problem. Unless you mean heat hot.. Anyway, turn down your hüga by tapping the button. Red = High, Blue = Medium, and Green = Low. This reminds us of when the car’s heated seats are on, you space it, and then wonder if you peed your pants.

Is hüga cool for kids?

Absolutely. Their little metabolisms rev away, so we suggest you keep it set on green. If their lips turn blue, crank it up a notch. Once they’re old enough to play with a phone, they’re old enough to control it themselves.

Our Story

Hüga Was Created for Maine Restaurants During the Pandemic, When They Could Only Serve Outside

Like a lot of great ideas, Hüga cushions were inspired by what we wanted for ourselves. In the early days of Covid, when outdoor dining and sitting around the fire pit really started to take off, we realized there weren’t any cushions that could stand up to the new conditions.

We tested and prototyped until we had cushions that could handle daily use, be wiped down with sanitizer and still look and feel good, go strong for many seasons and for many hours – with our biggest battery able to run for 10 hours on high and even longer on lower temps.

Restaurants found many creative ways to extend the season, from heat lamps to blankets. We found ourselves wishing for warm seats, and wondering why “they” hadn’t thought of that. We realized we could be “them,” so we made the solution ourselves.
