Our Story
Created by a Mom & Classroom Volunteer To Help Both The Distracted & Voracious Readers
Time spent in a book is time well spent. I wanted the kids i encountered in the classroom and in my home to feel successful and excited when it came to reading. While i embrace the idea of 20 minutes of practice to hone your skill in any endeavor-sports, music and reading, having multiple children reading for different amounts of time each night and filling out logs that had to be totaled for the week and month quickly became a chore.
Our bookmark was designed to cultivate a love of reading by helping the distracted reader stop worrying that the time was about to be up and disappear into the story plot, helping the struggling reader break those 20 minutes up throughout the day into pieces they can master and feel good about and helping the voracious reader feel that accomplishment.
