The Double Pod Leash is the first full-grain leather dog leash with a built-in poop bag dispenser, so there are no dangling holders or clipping accessories on and off. The storage compartment is structurally formed within the leash body itself, holding two rolls of bags so you never run out mid-walk, plus a second chamber to carry used bags hands-free.


Handmade in small batches from full-grain leather with solid brass hardware, it is the kind of leash that gets better with age and turns heads every walk. Patent pending and available in Standard for dogs 25–75 lbs and Mini for dogs 0–25 lbs, in Cognac and Black.

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. We accept returns on unused, unaltered leashes and bags within 14 days of delivery. The product must be in new condition (no signs of use, chewing, wear, or alterations).

What makes the Double Pod  Leash different from other leashes?

It’s the only leash with a built-in system that holds two poop bag rolls (primary + backup) and has slits to carry full waste bags hands-free...all in a sleek, bounce-free design.

What size dogs is the Double Pod  Leash recommended for?

The Mini Double Pod Leash is designed for dogs up to 25 lbs. If your dog is an aggressive puller, we recommend sizing up to the Standard. The Standard Double Pod Leash is ideal for dogs up to 75 lbs with moderate leash behavior. This leash is not recommended for working dogs or dogs that pull aggressively. A heavy-duty version, designed for extra-large breeds and aggressive pullers, is currently in development. For dogs with intense pulling or higher physical demands, we recommend waiting for that option. Always inspect the leash before each use. This is a handmade product, crafted from natural leather. Do not use if the leather is damaged, frayed, or compromised, as this may affect its strength and safety. Edamame Pet is not liable for injury, misuse, or damage resulting from improper use.

Is the Double Pod Leash durable?

Yes! It’s crafted from premium Argentinian full-grain leather, reinforced with study hardware, and handmade by skilled leather artisans. It’s built to last and to age beautifully over time.

How should I care for my leather leash?

Wipe it clean with a soft cloth, let it air dry naturally, and condition it with a leather conditioner every 3–6 months. Avoid machine washing, soaking, or drying near direct heat.

Here in Maine, we grow up appreciating things that are built to last, made with care, and never overcomplicated. We care about craftsmanship, innovation, and doing things the right way, even if it means taking the long road.No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just well-made products for people who love their dogs as much as we do.

Edamame Pet started with our brother Ryan, the dreamer in the family, who got tired of dealing with the same issues every dog owner faces. Bulky plastic bag holders clanking around, running out of bags at the worst moment, and carrying full poop bags for the rest of the walk.

We started making prototypes. Crude at first, but improving with every version.

• Our dad’s a nuclear engineer. He’s precise, and obsessed with solving problems.

• Our mom is loving but practical. She’ll be the first to tell us if something’s over-engineered or not useful in real life.

• Our sister has an MBA and a sharp eye for quality and clean design—if it’s not beautiful, it doesn’t leave the house.

• And Ryan? He’s the engine, always chasing better ideas and pushing us forward.
