Our Story
It's Time to Retire the Dog Biscuit
I started Pearl & Paw because I couldn't find a worthy treat for my dog, Pearl. Every pet store offered the same two things: freeze-dried meats or artificial dye-covered cookies that haven't evolved since 1987. Neither felt good enough. I have a marketing background as an executive working on some iconic brands such as Skittles and Starburst, so I know how something looks is part of how it feels. So I went ahead with creating dye-free, superfood-colored truffles filled with real meat. Nothing hidden. Nothing artificial. We've only been in market 3 months and are in 30+ independent boutiques, 400+ units sold and was secured on Chicago's own WGN TV. We deserve transparency and so do our dogs.
