We have a standard shipping rate of $6.71 and orders take 2 to 3 business days to be processed and shipped. We do not ship out on weekends.
In some instances, the delivery may take longer than the standard shipping times stated above. External factors might cause shipping delays such as holidays and the weather which we cannot control. Will it fit larger cats?
Yes. The Original fits cats up to 20 lbs. For bigger breeds, choose the Extra Large size.
Does it require training?
No training needed. Cats instinctively use Meow Manor without hassle or adjustment.
Is it safe for kittens and senior cats?
Yes! Its gentle, paw-friendly design is safe and easy for cats of all ages.
Can it be installed on a metal door?
We recommend having it installed in a normal wooden door for a firm fit and installation.
Is there a plastic cat door frame for each side of the door?
Yes. Our cat doors have two sides which will be placed on each side of your door.
Is it noisy like flap doors?
No, it has a no-flap design—no more annoying flap noise or stuck paws.
Is it difficult to install?
Because it is our main concern to create an amazing experience with our products, we have made a full-proof installation process that anyone can follow. All you need are a pencil marker and a jigsaw. Can it be painted with different colors?
We carry a white variation for all our doors along with black and brown. However, some of our customers have personally painted their Purrfect Portal cat doors in different colors which also looks amazing!
Can I install the cat doors on something besides a door?
Our current cat doors are designed for interior use. While some customers adapt them for garage/RV doors, we still advise installing it on interior doors to ensure optimal product function and durability. In line with this, we are developing a cat door that can be installed for interior walls, so stay tuned!
Can this be installed without taking off the door?
We recommend taking off your door for ease and firm installation.

My name is Lisa Harrington, the founder of Purrfect Portal. Back in 2016, I noticed something frustrating—most cat doors on the market were either clunky, unattractive, or just didn’t work well. As a devoted cat lover, I knew our feline friends (and their humans) deserved better. So, I took my idea to a local SCORE office in Boston, MA, and with their guidance, Purrfect Portal was born.
