WetChute is a bag made from parachute fabric designed to help you get into a wetsuit faster and easier. The WetChute bag helps the neoprene to slide easily over your skin.
The goal is to get you into the water faster and to take away the frustration of putting on your wetsuit. Simply put your foot into the WetChute and glide right into your wetsuit. Simply repeat with your other foot and hands.

Is every bag unique?
Every original WetChute is truly unique: they were all crafted by hand from repurposed parachutes. Each chute has its own history and distinctive look, which determines the color of each WetChute. Parachutes come in many shapes and sizes which requires us to hand cut one chute at a time. Over time, we realized that the inconsistency of each parachute was creating a problem with quality control. We now use new parachute fabric which allows us to make sure each WetChute is created from the best possible fabric.
How do I clean my WetChute?
Cleaning your WetChute bag is simple. Hand wash with cool to lukewarm water with gentle detergent or natural soap. Use an old toothbrush for extra cleaning on problematic spots. Hang dry for about ten minutes.
Why are you using reused materials?
We started with a basic idea: let’s create a bag to replace the old plastic bag trick for putting on your wetsuit. We realized that the perfect material to slide your foot into a wetsuit was ripstop nylon. This material can also withstand abrasion, water, dirt, gravel, sand and water else you might be stepping on while putting that wetsuit on! And it dries in minutes! We then learned that ripstop nylon is not biodegradable, and will persist in the environment indefinitely. There had to be a better way. We started calling all the sky divers and base jumpers we knew asking for their old canopies. We took these old parachutes and decided to give them a new life and purpose. We currently use new parachute fabric and no longer used recycled fabric.

My Quest To Conquer The Wetsuit Struggle And To Eliminate Single-use Plastic!
Inspired by our passion for the environment and our love for surfing, the WetChute is made from parachute fabric and is designed to help you get into your wetsuit faster and easier. WetChute was born out of necessity by a couple of parents who were seeking a solution to an enduring problem.
As surfers we knew that we wanted to teach our kids to surf but we quickly learned that getting your kids wetsuits on along with your own, was a struggle that took the fun out of surfing. We started using plastic bags to help put our wetsuits on easier, but we knew that we could do better and that is how the WetChute came to life. We got a hold of old parachutes and designed the perfect bag to be used over your hands and feet to glide right into your wetsuit.
