What materials is the Best Wine Key made from?

The body and corkscrew are crafted from stainless steel in three finishes: brushed (Big Red), PVD-coated (Noir), and polished (Tortoise). The Big Red and Noir handles feature dimpled PPE scales, while the Tortoise handle is made from cellulose acetate.

How is this different from a standard corkscrew?

The Best Wine Key is engineered for a smoother, more enjoyable uncorking experience. It combines a sharp worm, a ratcheting lever, and a folding serrated foil cutter in one streamlined design — balancing precision, function, and aesthetics.

Is it good for older, brittle corks or synthetic corks?

Yes! The ratcheting mechanism pulls the cork straight up and out, reducing the risk of brittle corks breaking — a common issue with standard wine keys. The sharp worm is designed to handle both natural and synthetic corks with ease.

Is there a foil knife?

Yes. A serrated foil cutter folds neatly into the handle for convenience.

Is there a bottle opener?

Yes, it includes a crown cap opener for capped bottles.
