Is Geekey TSA compliant?
Yes! Geekey is 100% TSA compliant even with the serrated edge. Since the serrated edge is in an enclosed area of the multi-tool it is not an external blade and is less than 1 inch. We have yet to hear of a single problem or Geekey being confiscated for any reason.
How small is Geekey compared to your normal key?
Geekey is slightly larger and thicker than your typical house key. The thickness was engineered to prevent it from bending, cracking, or breaking when tightening and loosening even the most stubborn screws, bolts, or nuts. Its size was designed and tested to be just large enough to give you adequate torque to tighten or loosen screws, bolts, or nuts, yet small enough to easily fit on your keychain and put in your pocket. Geekey is 2.76” wide x 1.15” tall x .2” thick – and it weighs only 0.77 oz!
How comfortable is Geekey when driving a screw?
Geekey has had countless prototypes created to ensure both its comfort and effectiveness. It is very comfortable in your hand and because of the tool’s thickness and flat shaped design you can apply a good amount of torque on any screw.
How durable is Geekey?
Geekey is made out of indestructible 420 stainless steel and is extremely strong. The construction has many benefits centering around its unmatched durability and strength. Its durability is proven by its rust-resistant, strip-resistant, and flameproof properties…it is tough as nails and will last a lifetime. Geekey is also dishwasher safe so it can be cleaned any time after use. The material is also magnetic, making it convenient for easy storage.
Is Geekey long enough to apply the right amount of torque to a bolt?
Yes! Geekey is ergonomically designed and tested to apply enough torque to loosen even stubborn nuts and bolts. Simply place Geekey’s closed wrench in a position over the nut or bolt so when applying torque you are pushing on the “file” section (towards the tip of the key) for maximum leverage.
What are the sizes of the wrenches and screwdriver tips on Geekey?
The screwdriver tip was designed and tested to work with the 9 most common screws. No other screwdriver tip can do this! It works with: #2&3 Phillips, #2&3 Slotted, a #2 Square Drive, #2&3 Combo Phillips/Slotted, and the #2&3 Combo Phillips/Square screws. The closed wrench have both Imperial (Standard) and Metric sizes! They include 7/16", 3/8", 5/16", 1/4", 3/16", and 1/8" sizes. The Metric side includes M8 (13mm also 1/2"), M6 (10mm), M5 (8mm), M4 (7mm), M3.5 (6mm), and M2 (5mm) bolts/nuts.
