This innovative box opener is just the thing that I've been needing. It comes as a single unit with two replacement "blades". Use could not be easier - just use it like a knife. I often have used a key to open boxes and this uses a similar principle of operation, e.g. a serrated edge. I like that this is safer to use than a box cutter and I have added it to my key ring for easy and quick use whenever needed.

I get a ton of stuff delivered to me and that means a ton of stuff to open. This safety box cutter is so much better than using scissors. Even though it is really small, that helps make it easier to maneuver when opening boxes. Regular tape, duct tape, reinforced amazon tape, it goes right through them. Cardboard isn't a problem at all either. So far it cuts through everything but feels amazingly safe to use. Keep the scissors for cutting paper but get these safety box cutters for packages. You'll love them.

I used this to open up about 100 boxes today. We deliver and stock product in the grocery stores so we need something that will cut the case open but not the product inside. This accomplished that well. The tips on the front of the blade wore off pretty quickly but it still did the job. The technique is to poke the tip through the tape on the box and then pull it through the tape to open the box. Once you had the technique down you could open boxes pretty fast.

An engineer aims to create innovative products not yet seen in the market.

Our daily routines involve frequent box openings, whether at the office, in a warehouse, during customer visits, or at home. The constant search for a knife has become a daily task. It's quite common to misplace a knife, especially as the father of a three-year-old daughter. It's essential to keep the utility knife out of her reach, but often, I can't remember where I placed it.


Therefore, I want to create a solution: a compact and safe knife that is easily accessible. I want a knife that I don't have to worry about my child getting hurt with and that can be conveniently attached to my keychain or stored in an easily accessible place like the refrigerator or porch, where I frequently handle packages at home.
