Do they come already wound up and ready to fly?

We do not offer our FlutterFlyer pre-wound. You will need to wind them up prior to use. Please use your best discretion when deciding who to give or send a FlutterFlyer to, as the shock and surprise of the product may not be suitable for all individuals and it is your responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of the recipient. By purchasing and using our product, you assume all responsibility for any potential adverse reactions from the recipients of the FlutterFlyer.

What are your Flying Butterflies made out of?

Flutter Flyers are constructed using a combination of materials, including small and flexible cardstock paper, a flight band, and a plastic diecast spinning core.

Can these be shipped in the mail in a greeting card?

Yes, you can definitely send Flutterflyers as part of a greeting card! It's an extra fun way to surprise your loved ones. To ensure they reach their destination in perfect condition, we recommend adding the "Non-Machinable" postage for an additional 50 cents. This way, USPS will take extra care and handle your Flutterflyers by hand instead of using machines. It's worth the extra investment to make sure your fluttering friend arrives safe and sound, ready to surprise and delight!
