Mimbleball

Mimbleball ships domestically to all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, with most continental U.S. orders arriving within 3–7 business days after processing; shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, P.O. boxes, and APO/FPO addresses may take longer and expedited service is not available for APO/FPO. Shipping costs are based on order value, location, and whether oversized items are included, and customers can review charges in their cart. International shipping is not currently offered, though special requests may be discussed directly. Two shipping options are available: Standard (5–8 business days) and Expedited (2–3 business days), with actual delivery times subject to order placement time, holidays, and courier factors.

Not 100% satisfied with your Mimbleball product? After receiving your product, you have 30 days to return it, as long as it’s in new and unused condition. Please note that we currently do not offer gift exchanges. For returns, we’ll gladly refund your purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges. There are no restocking fees. Please keep any emails you receive regarding your order, as they may contain important information. Once we receive your return, we will process a refund within 14 business days to the original form of payment. Your bank may require additional time to post this transaction to your account.

Are Mimbleballs safe for young children?

Absolutely. Mimbleballs use safety features and are tested to meet ASTM requirements, making them safe for all ages.

What are Mimbleballs made from?

They’re crafted from a polyester/acrylic blend for the hair and face, Poly-Fil stuffing, and embroidered string eyes.

Can I machine wash my Mimbleballs?

Yes! Wash them on a gentle cycle or spot clean. Always air dry, then use the included comb to restore their fluff.

Will they lose their shape after washing?

No, if you follow the care instructions and use the comb after air drying, they’ll bounce right back to their original fluffy glory.

Do they work as sensory or therapy tools?

Yes! Many people find the soft texture, tactile hair, and playful design calming and helpful for emotional comfort, sensory play, and breaking the ice in social situations.

How big are they?

You get one of each size! Original Mimbleballs measure 5", Mini Mimbles measure 3.5" (plus the crazy hair!)

Mimbleballs were invented in January 2017 by Theo Chambers, age 10, in Moorpark, CA, USA. What started as a ball of faux fur was transformed into a hairball with personality through the addition of button eyes and a creative haircut! 

Every time a new Mimbleball came to life it was surrounded by a slightly frenzied group of children demanding to know what it was -- and could they have one! More creative fun came with experimenting with different fabrics and color combinations.

Soon, more and more of Theo's friends wanted a Mimbleball of their own! We knew that they were funny, cuddly friends, but what we didn't realize was how beneficial and therapeutic they could be. As Theo's mom, Julia, started making more Mimbleballs, people started telling her how they were helping them: with anxiety, with their students and patients, with their parents suffering from Alzheimer's. 

With this revelation, Mimbleball ramped up production. As more Mimbleballs were handed out,  more beneficial uses were discovered! Mimbleball, Inc., now a handful of creatives and business masterminds, researched and selected 6 final Mimbleball designs for  the   Original Crew: Thimble, Bimble, Ira, Gabe, Ivie, and Theo. What started out as a way to have fun, comfort, and connect quickly turned into a valuable and worthwhile venture.

Mimbleball Inc. would like to deliver as many Mimbleballs as possible to everyone who would benefit from a cuddly, comforting companion. With the sale of every 20 Mimbleballs, we will donate one to nurturing not-for-profit, such as a hospital, school, or foster care program.
