Spent a long time looking at leather backpacks and this one fits the bill - not too big or small and a nice rich brown. On its maiden cross country flight it fit my computer, book, water bottle, chargers and a snack. I even stuffed my light puffer jacket in there but that made it completely full. Front pocket is good for your phone. Only issue is side zippered pockets. They are too small for much - gum or a charger fits. They were so stiff to start it was hard to get anything into them but they seem to be a bit easier to use as the leather softens. T
