How do I know if this product will fit my car?

What phones fit on the LOUNGE-IT?

Most single screen smart phones fit well. We have not tested with folding phones.

How does it work with Dashcam apps?

Using the mirror stem mount in the horizontal (landscape) position the cameras on most phone will see past the LOUNGE-IT for a clear view of the road.

I ordered two LOUNGE-IT car phone holders, which arrived very quickly. It works well in one of our cars, but not quite the right fit for our other car. I contacted Smart Additions to let them know I needed to return one of the items. They responded immediately with a return label and instructions. I'm happy with the product, and I'm REALLY happy to have had such a quick and easy return process. Wish all companies were as responsive and efficient.

Love the new LOUNGE-IT car phone holder. I have bought and then thrown away two phone holders I got on Amazon of a totally different design - they stuck to the dash with suction backed up by sticky adhesive. Not this one - it is sturdily built, attaches positively and stays there. I have it almost fully extended, which seems to make it ever so slightly wobbly, but it is in no danger of falling or losing its grip.

Easy to install, easy to use. A little bit difficult to remove it from the mirror arm, you have to move to the passenger seat to be able to hold the top of the clip with your other hand while unscrewing the bottom piece, but overall it works well.

The clamp to attach it to the rearview mirror anchor is sturdy, and easy to attach besides having to essentially play twister with your dashboard. Not a bad thing, comes with the territory for this kind of mount. The price is reasonably low for the quality of the item. The hinges are easy to adjust, and it stays put while driving. I haven't had a problem with it falling when I'm driving like I've had with others. The backplate for the phone is a nice touch too, making it easy to remove your phone while not having to worry about it falling off. It doesn't get in the way of Apple/Google pay if you put it on the lower half of your phone.
